Broken PS3

Hello.

 

About 2 weeks ago I bought a new PS3 Slim, after a week of having it we had a storm and lightening hit our house. The PS3 was plugged into a surge protector but the surge past through the protector and has fried my PS3. I was wondering if there was anyway I could send the system to Sony and have them repair it for me? I was also wondering how much it would cost?

This usually costs between £100-£150.
