Call of Duty: World at war Freezes at the video in the beginning!

Okay, I have deleted the file in "Game Data Utility" and tried to re-download it; It didn't work.

I tried re-downloading and deleted my profile

(I have it backed up though)

I didn't work.

I tried to quickly press "start" to skip the video quickly; It didn't work.

The CD itself doesn't have a single scratch on it and I could play it perfectly yesterday afternoon, I can load the game when I am signed out from Playstation Network but when I sign in it instantly freezes. So that must be the problem!

Any solutions? Tips? anything is helpful.

Disable any torrenting software on your computer as this can cause all sorts of problems with call of duty.

I have PS3 Slim 320gb, where would I find the torrenting software if I were to have it on this model?

The Torrenting software I'm on about is likely to be on your PC. For example, uTorrent, bitTorrent, Frostwire etc.

Didn't work by disabling Bitorrent on all the computers, I have seen people with this problem with no success. Is there any live chat with Playstation employees that I can get some help from? and don't take me wrong I do appreciate your effort in helping me but it just didn't work or do you have any other ideas?

The closest to live chat you can get is their Call Centre I'm afraid.

The numbers are all available here. If you're in the UK it's 0844 736 0595

I don't think sony can help much they will probably pass you on to Activision their game so an Activision problem.

From the responses I've heard, Activision are as helpful as a chocolate hammer when it comes to PS3 issues with their games. It might be worth talking to both of them anyway.

I don't think a drive format will make any difference it's probably a connection issue. I would double check any uTorrent etc is switched off then reboot your router by switching it off for few minutes whilst everything else connected is off. If a reboot doesn't work maybe try putting your PS3 in your routers DMZ. http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Network-General/How-to-put-your-PS3-into-a-DMZ/td...
