Hello.

I was just surfing the web when i saw that updates newer then 4.00 can play PS2 games.

I want to play some games of PS2 that ain't available in the store so i want to buy the discs of the games so that i can play those games which ain't available in the store.

So my question is that can i play PS2 games from the disc. Is there any other solution that i can play Ps2 games on PS3 without downloading them from the store.

You have to have a 1st gen ps3

Games on the store have an emulation wrapper to allow them to run on any PS3.

Some disc games work on the early fat 60GB PS3.
