I am unable to update uncharted 3 and i recieve that error messege once i reac hthe installation part of the patch and its stops at 14%

The error points to this definition:

As it is an update and has partially installed, I suggest deleting your Uncharted 3 Game Data from the Game Data Utility, then running the update again. If it fails, let me know and we'll take it from there

What's the connection quality like on the PS3? If it's poor then that's likely to cause you grief

Same problem here, this is getting really annoying.

I have this problem too - I've tried deleting the game data and trying again - still no luck.

My connection is fine.

Any advice? Any info I can give to help you narrow the problem down?

Try rebooting your router i had a problem with 1.07 patch wouldn't download at all till i restarted my router.

You could try Rebuilding the Database to see if that fixes the problem.

This should resolve the issue if its corruption causing it. The safe mode tutorial and information can be found here.

I forgot to add - mine doesn't stop at 14% like the OP it gets to 100% before giving me that error message.

I tried it again and this time when you go to the game menu and are about to select the game disc you can see a piece of corrupted data. Does this narrow the problem down?

Corrupted data indicates a bad download. The safe mode suggestion I made followed by choosing "restore file system" should help.
