Closing TV apps on PS3

Not had my PS3 (40gb) long. Got a fairly straightforward question: when I've finished watching something like 4oD, how do I get out of it and back to the main XMB menu? I've tried pressing everything but can't figure out how to do it. In the end, I usually just turn the system off. I have to say, I find the PS3 interface pretty unfriendly and confusing compared to it's main - ahem - rival. Anyway, can someone help me out please? Thanks.

Holding the PS button will present the menu screen. The first item on the list is Quit :smileywink: Press X, confirm and you're back to the XMB :smileyhappy:

Also NEVER turn off using a hard reset. Soft reset only :smileyhappy: Obvious but many do just rip the plug out the wall or flick the rear switch.

4OD and ITV player is web browser based only needs you to Press Circle button to bring up the Quit browser option.

Iplayer, Love film, Netflix are apps these will need the PS button usage...

YouTube PS3 companion app HD video, NA 1.04/EU 1.00 720p HD Video
( Remote access controll usage, No DS3 used... )
