Hey guys, Woke up this morning and decided to play some games. When I was trying to navigate the XMB I realised that my left analog stick wasn't working. So I went on to the Browser and tried moving the right analog stick, no response from that either. The issue resolved itself once for about 30 minutes and then happened again.
Controller gets treated well, bought it approximately 6 months ago, and my question is whether or not this is a temporary issue or if i'll have to go and buy a new controller. I've been using the thing for 6 months and never had any issues, then overnight both analog sticks fail. Just find it to be a bit weird.
P.S Clicking with the sticks work but they don't work at all in 360 degrees.
Have you tried the reset button underneath? It's just to the right above the label by the middle screw. While connected via charge cable hold it in for several seconds with pin or paperclip.
If the above doesn't work it's worth noting official controllers are covered by a 12 month warranty in the UK. If you still have proof of purchase you should be able to get a replacement.

I had tried the reset button and the analog sticks still didn't work. However, overnight the analog sticks are working perfectly again, extremely confused given that I haven't touched the controllers whenever they've decided to work or die.
Unfortunately, no receipt available so I can't return it, but I do have a backup controller somewhere.
