It says that  the code is not correct or no longer valid what the hell!! 

I just spend £90 on Hardened edition and it's telling me this?!!?!

And now because I tried to enter  code too many times I am getting error code 80023156 which means I am banned from redeeming codes what the freaking hell this is a joke and i'm getting no help from any support people

it was a given that this was going to happen, just give it a day or 2 and all should be fine and you will get your elite up and running, was bound to happen with new service and such high demand for mw3.

no no dont worry about that, that will just be an automatic message your code should be fine and work once the demand on elite servers calms down and they sort the service.

all will be fine.

EDIT: i think its because elite still isnt available yet on ps3 in uk, its still up as preorder on store, once that changes then you will get your code validated no probs.

But when I buy a PSN Card and if i try the card again like a week later (I forget that I used them sometimes) It says the exact message that it's no longer valid because i've already used it.

And it's saying the same message now

yeah but the same thing happened with my uncharted 3 online pass last week, it was saying the code had been used untill they activated the codes on psn then it worked.

honestly it will work soon, my free theme code is saying its been used but it will work soon.

I'm having the same issue. Did see that on the store the Elite membership switched from pre-order to normal. Hopefully the codes will be active soon as well. Otherwise I'm expecting it to pull an Uncharted and it should fix itself when the store updates.

thanks for the info - I can confirm it is there an the download works fine now, I previously  had the same prob .  One thing though, is there anyway that PS could keep us informed about stuff like this?  What I mean is if they new that this download was not activated & new when or approx they was going to activate it, why could they not let say the mods or even a rep just post it directly as a status.  Time & time this happens - especially for dlcs - why cant you give us a ETA for these downloads - even if you cant manage the ETA you could then give us a further ETA - at least then we know its not just broke & stops us getting frustrated over nothing.

Soz if I sound like ***** but It just winds me up - that is the lack of communication.
