I thought about doing that but resisted the urge as I didn't want to mess the whole thing up lol I have reset from the back of the router though many a time.
One thing worth checking is your router up-to-date with the latest firmware?
Reason i ask i had problems with my netgear even with DMZ set-up it was not forwarding packets correctly to some games.
After using some DSL setting work arounds to get some games working a recently released update has resolved all problems no work arounds needed.

Your ISP -
The game/update that you were trying to download -
the model of your PS3 -
Your online ID -
Once I have this I will pass it on and we can hopefully get this sorted for you.
