So if all the tech did was change the cable from router to the cable in the wall and the actual plug itself, although he couldn't find a problem it must have been something to do with that.
Hi guys,
When downloading content, and installing- if the install stops and the error code appears (or at 14%) it sounds like the intial content download was incomplete.
Although it tries to install the data, it was initially downloaded in packets and therefore some data may have been lost. Usually this can be put down to the router in a wireless connection which may be blocking content going through - but this may also affect a wired connection going through the router.
In the immediate future, as suggested above, wiring the PS3 directly into the modem and downloading the data again should ensure no issues when it comes to the installation. However in terms of the router its worth checking it has the latest firmware on it, and check that ports are open and there are no additional firewalls.

Hi! My name is Fernando, I'm from Argentina, and I'm having the exact same problem as TalllPaul.
It's been a month since I bought my PS3 and I've never had this issue before.
Today, i received my UK copy of LittleBigPlanet 2 Platinum Edition.
It started downloading the updates, and when it tries to install the 568MB one, it stops at 14% and returns this error.
I'm now trying to do the update via a wired connection (I was using WiFi before), so I hope it'll work.
In case it doesn't, here's my info:
Country: Argentina
ISP: Speedy (Telefónica)
Game: LittleBigPlanet 2 (Platinum edition)
Model: 120gb PS3 Slim
Online ID: dotKay
I've searched everywhere and I haven't found a solution for this problem, so I hope the wired connection works.
I'll let you know if it doesn't.

UPDATE:
I tried updating using the wired connection and then setting up de DMZ. I still can't install the patch.
I'll try letting the PS3 do the update automatically via the PlayStation Plus auto update, but I just can't think of anything else.
I'd really like some help with this, since I bought this game and I can't play online because of this problem ![]()
(I just realized I posted this using my UK account, but I'm the same guy that posted before, "dotKay")

I've tried using the automatic update and it didn't help either (it downloaded patches for Journey and DC Universe Online without a problem), the installation keeps getting stuck at 14%.
I really need help with this error. I bought this game mainly for the online component and I can't even play it while online.
I just don't know what to do...
