YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had success reformatted hard-drive again and then did a quick format made a dmz and just been able to install update for black ops and install map pack on my new ps3 hope you others have some success with your issues

succes!!!!

On a sunday night @ 2 AM i managed to finally download and install all 17 updates for GT5.

Maybe it helped downloading the updates during off-peak hours.

Never the less,  this problem has to be solved by Sony in some way

think  i spoke too soon 2nd map pack for black ops and any other downloads still having same issue

this needs to be sorted asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi jenks i have just noticed on the previous page you are using a Netgear. 

Have you checked the firmware is up-to-date there was a recent update for the DGN 1000 model supplied by Virgin, Orange and Sky etc.

i have the netgear wgr614v9 router everything is updated only started having issues with new 250gb ps3 have been able to install a couple more files but still got loads that i need to install

im the same but the installation failed on the 9th install may delete it and start over again sony may sort this *****e out and fast

Still waiting for sony to get back to us on this issue but suppose customer care is not high on their list of priorities

Hi guys,

This is currently being investigated, I wonder if you could let be know the titles you are having this issue with and also the BLES/BCES code of the game.

If it's an additional patch for a disc copy of the game for instance you can find this code on the spine of the box for the game and it tells you the region the game comes from.
