Me again 

I've just reformatted my External HD to FAT32 and created the folders inside shown by some wikihelp page. Just plugged it in and it picks it up for things like "Music, Video, Pictures and Saved Games" but is there a way I can put the Game Data in there so that I have more room to install more?

Hopefuly that all made sense and I missed something whilst setting it up.

Actually forget about this, I've been doing research which admittedly I should have done in the first place. Just found out that the external hardrives only act as a back storage device and therefore can't run games off of it >.<

I'll just have to save up and by an internal hardrive.

Actually, If your External HDD has a 2.5'' HDD inside of it you can take that out and place it in your playstation.
