I bought fifa 12 since the day it came out. Everything was ok. The online modes were working. But, yesterday, i tried going on online to play with my friend. First problem, i took me quite a while as it keeps on saying. "could not connect to EA server". I kep on trying for one hour until i got finally connected to the EA server but after that, it asked me to put in the online pass code and I input the code which i used last time since i've bought the game. The code that came with the game. Even after inputing the code, it couldn't detect the online pass. I've tried like more than 5 times but the same thing happens. Oh, and, it keeps asking me to use the trial... Pls help me. Im dying to play FIFA Online

Try going to the PlayStation Store, then choose Download List from the top right. In there should be the online pass. Redownload it and you should be all set

Try deleting all your Game Data with the game data utility. Then relaunch the game and let it install/update. Quit the game after and download the pass again, and any other DLC you may have for it.

Did that too. I did both of this yesterday and it didn't work

Check the disk, somewhere on it, there is something like "BLEU 54884" written on it. See if it matches up with the code on the spine of the box. It might be that the disk is foreign but the docs inside the box aren't. It's pretty rare but not unheard of that that can happen.

(You can kinda tell I'm a little stumped by this one )

It's the same. I bought it last year when it was released and input the code. No problems at all. It was just yesterday that the problem occurred.

There may well be something going on at EA. I just went to the EA support page and was presented with:

"This site has been disabled for the time being." (http://support.electronicarts.co.uk/)

I will try it this weekend and update on whats happening. Im having examinations right now so yeah. Thanks for your help anyways

Yep this was most likely to do with the EA maintenance but if your still having problems after the maintenance then let us know.
