Hey. I'll try to describe this as best I can, but it'll probably be confusing.

So, this has happened in more than one game. Sometimes it happens all the time, sometimes only at certain times, etc.

The problem is that the game will, stutter, gameplay for a second maybe, then freeze, repeat. This obviously makes the games unplayable.

I have no idea what is causing this, but it's getting to the point where I want to throw the PS3 out of the window.

Does anyone have any help?

Is there any games that do not have this issue?

It's hard to say really, as it isn't always happening on games I know do. Skyrim suffers for example somtimes, sometimes it's fine (Which I know is a known issue). GTA IV on the other hand, I can't really remember having any type of freezing. Fight Night Champion was fine not too long ago, I tried it last night and it was unplayable.

Does this happen when your signed out of PSN?

I've just checked, and yes, it happens when signed in or out.

Have you tried deleting the game data for the affected games?

I haven't. It'd be a lot of loss of time etc if I were to do that.

Fear not, You won't lose any data if you delete from the game data utility as this is just the place where the data to run the age is stored and not your actual save data

Okay, so I got home and deleted the file, and it worked! I was worried it was something hardware related, so that's a relief.
