Been having these problems since 3.70 so was glad to find this thread.  You can add my name into it isn't working and it used to.  I think I had my saved games updated once and not since along with everything else now not working!

Ah it was a 'Push Demo' that auto download was downloading that's why.

Beyond Good and Evil HD which I've tried before anyway.

First push demo I've had in over a year from auto downloads!

i've played around a bit and here is some more information:

First, i've enabled automatic updates to run at 8am to 10am.
then, after playing some games where i enabled auto-upload, i went to the date/time settings and set the time with the internet-method.
then i turned off the ps3.

the other day my ps3 turned on automatically at around 9:30am and uploaded the files. (also downloaded the beyond good and evil demo)
however, the next day it didn't turn on at all.

on the evening of that day i went to the date/time settings again and refreshed the time from the internet again. that was yesterday.
today, my ps3 also turned on and uploaded my files at 9:40am.

i think, that there is a flag that controlls the behaviour of the auto-updates. it seems, that this flag isn't reset at the end of the day, so the update only runs once. the flag is however being reset when changing the time.
enabling the auto-update also seems to set this flag to false, thus resulting in no auto-update at the desired time.

so maybe someone could check if automatic updates do work at least once when they are activated the following way:
1. enable auto-update for desired game
2. enable general auto-update to occur in the morning
3. play the game and create updated save-games
4. before turning of the ps3 refresh the set time with internet-method

This was discovered days ago and talked about in this thread.
Personally I can't be arsed anymore as Sony have stated that it's a bug which will be fixed soon, so I'll just wait.

As myself and others have already reported, Sony have called a few of us after making complaints and they have admitted the fault and they are working on it.

But yeah, I'm happy now. That's all it takes. It could be another 2 weeks and I'd still be patient, if they apologise and acknowledge a fault, I'll support them.

Just to update everyone so far the issue is currently being looked into, however at the moment it is not known how a resolution will be implemented- I will keep you posted when I have more information.

Another addition to the list. It's not working for me at all. Tried various methods of getting it to work (date change, time change, syncing etc.) and still nada.

Since this is a paid service, I expect to receive additional days onto my PS+ sub for the duration of the problem once the matter is fixed.
