I have a Playstation Move navigation controller (the bit you use instead of the usual controller) and the red light does not come on when connected and seems dead. Does not work at all. Is there anything I can try (already tried the reset button) or is it faulty and need to return it to the shop? Any help would be appreciated.

It needs to be synch'd to the PS3 plug it in to a USB port and press the PS button. Oh, and needs to be charged for a while as well.

Having a similar problem.

The controller has been on charge all day, I've connected the controller via USB, pressed the PS button.

And nothing happens at all.

Have we just got a duff one?

Having the exact same issue.

The controller was charged for 6 hours. With it connected to the PS3, pressed the PS button and nothing.

Tried re-setting the controller - nothing.

When unplugging and re-plugging it via USB, the red light flashes 5 or so times, then goes out. I'm assuming this means its fully charged.

Very frustrating that out of the box (got the Move bundle with the 320GB console for Xmas), it is not working.

I have the same problem. When mine is connected to the ps3 with  usb cable it works fine, as soon as I unplug it. it stops working.

I took it back and swapped for another and it does the same thing.

My navigation control is connecting but that and my motion wand won't sync as one.  They are coming up as 2 different controllers and I can't use them together. How do I fix this problem?

They are supposed to come up as two different controllers but they should work as long as the game your playing supports both.

Figured out the problem with ours. Used an 'official' usb cable to pair the controller to the PS3 and it worked, a usb cable from the cupboard didn't....

This worked for me as well. The 2 USB cables I use, even the hive docking station for move controllers didn't work. Then tried the USB from my mic knowing it was an authentic ps3 USB cable and it's charging as we speak. I'm not touching it and hoping for the best.

I bought a navigation controller and it can get pluged in

BUT it turns on ONLY when its plugged in

without the wire it doesnt open  can anyone help me ?
