Try changing the settings on the controller.  Hold down PS3 button until you can access the control settings.  Make sure the navigation control is set to 1.  

Before i changed the setting to 1, I reset my control and made sure to charge with the original usb cord for PS3.

Have you tried some of the suggestions posted here to get it working?

• Using a different USB cable (if possible the one that came with the console)
• Reset the controller on the back and try again.

Let me know what you have tried so far.

ive charged it for hours and whenever i unplug it it turns off automatically. i hit the ps button and it doesnt flash or anything. like its dead. it will work when plugged in but when its unplugged i cant get anything out of it

I have the exactly same problem with my Move controller. Its working fine when connected with the USB cable (To the PS3 or to a PC). But not matter if it finish charging (the red blinking light goes off), as soon as I disconnect the USB cable the controller go dead and don't respond.

Have you tried pressing the PS button to restart it? (Also, try holding it for 30 seconds to force a reset of the controller)

I have the same problem i switched the usb charger that i was using for the motion controller with the one i was using for the navigation with eachother and now both are charging properly.

Hello , I've just recently brought the move , nav controller and sorcery game bundle , but my problem seems to be that while the navigation controller works great on my xmb screen , when I try to use it on sorcery game , it doesn't work at all and I'm having to use the ps3 sixxaxis instead please help .

Did you try plugging in the Nav controller alone by itself? I reset mine and plugged it in alone for a full charge, (with nothing else plugged in(cam,keyboard/other.) I had the same issue untill i unplugged all my extras!!  now it works great again.

Hi guys,

It seems that if you do not use the official USB to pair the Navigation controller, then you may run into some issues.

Using a third party USB cable in the controller for some only lets them use the controller when its plugged into the console, so always use the official USB if possible.

I would also check how many Bluetooth devices you have paired with the console as the maximum is 7, and this will pair as additional Bluetooth device.
