Hi,

Noticed Netflix has been launched in the UK now and have noticed it's not appeared on my XMB yet. I have tried lauching Home Etc, signing in and out, No joy!

Have you tried Life With Playstation that worked for me after FW 3.70 missing tv section people forget about that app.

Hi Jordan,

What you could try is acitvate/deactivate video in Account Management, and see if this prompts the service to appear. Sometimes with video services it can take a bit of time for them to 'pop up' on the XMB.

What currrent connection do you have, wired or wireless?

Hi,

Using a wired connection, tried the deactivate and re-activation, doesn't work. It appears on my brother's FAT PS3 on the same network.

Is it a problem with this type of model?

There has been no reports of any issues with particular models so it should work. The icon will appear some users noted with the previous introduction of the channels icon (4OD, iplayer etc) that it toook a bit of time to come through.

There have been some suggestions in this thread:

These suggestions have been put forward to enable the icon to appear (but it will evetually appear of its own accord). Let me know how you get on.

I've got the rest of the Icons, just not the Netflix one, when will it appear as I have just started the 30 day trial, can't sony put the app on the store for the selected regions, instead of this waiting rubbish?

I know of a few people who have slims and dont have Netflix either.No one from support got any advice ?.

I'd like to chip in here and add that I'm suffering fro the same problem - no Netflix app appearing anywhere in the XMB.

I've followed advice in the following two threads, to no avail:

Off the top of my head, I have:

• Signed in and out of the PSN on my own account multiple times
• Created two new accounts, one local to the PS3 and one on the PSN as well. Neither of them have the Netflix app.
• Updated Home, signed in and out of it
• Deactivated and Reactivated video content on the PS3 twice, checking after each attempt.

At the risk of flame-baiting, I've had no problems with the NEtflix app on my Xbox, so I'm quite frustrated that there's no sign of it on the PS3 at all, especially as it's the console I prefer to use to watch video content on.

I've done everything, I would like to get the App asap as my netflix trial has started. Can anyone report this to Sony themselves? Thanks
