Network settings!

I have yet another problem. I am trying to change the network settings so i can go back online but when it says choose a method. I pick easy but it doesn't work but when i choose custom, i put all the detail needed and i do a connection test whilst the livebox is in paring mode and it fails all the time. Plus my controller only works on the usd cable and i tried reseting it. HELP MEEEEEE!

Ah the old Orange Livebox used to have one till it died and was replaced with a netgear. There's a huge topic regarding the Livebox in the link below i'll check back here later if you need anymore assistance.

It didn't work, its my ps3 its messed up. Is there a way to reset the ps3 without deleting any data?
