I'm trying to register my existing account on my new playstation but every time i've tried to log in it either times out or comes up with a server maintenance. Tried using brothers console with same connection and can log in to my account on there but can't seem to register my account on my new console. Any advise?

There is currently PSN maintenance taking place.  Updates will be posted in this thread

There's currently unplanned maintenance running probably affecting account management probably try later.

Me too been messing about with my Internet and everything thinking it as my connection
