The exact same thing is happening to me mate, i thought it was just me! it's annoying because i wrote out a big message then BAM ... GONE! fml! lol .. hopfully there is a fix for this soon so i can abuse campers again.

Mine is doing the same thing. It started efore I donloaded the update so that isnt it. I did download the update and it still does it. It is really frustrating trying to type crap and have it keep closing your message and exit out. lol I hope they fix it soon.

Yeah don't worry guys more and more of us are emerging from the crowd. We will have our problem sorted in no time! Hopefully a fix in the patch that I believe is coming with the Prestiges and face off etc on the 14th of June.

Haven't had this problem myself but seen a post on the callofduty forums that says it seems to have been caused by the recent hotfix to activate double weapon XP.

The fix for some people is to disable Facebook integration in the MW3 MP options.

ill give that a try dude, but since this double weapon XP thing has been turned on i cant even connect to facebook any more through MW3? must be something at there end, just hope this gets fixed!!!

Yep guys as a temp fix if you just disable facebook in options right before clicking play online then it works.

This won't be permanent as i'm sure they'll fix it all in the upcoming patch.

I'm so glad i'm not the only one, I was scared my PS3 wasn't working anymore.
Can someone report that to activision/IW ?
