Re: PS3 Console Crashing

I can categorically guarantee that the lens won't melt under the heat produced by a PS3, unless your PS3 contains a fire. :smileywink:

They may help others in this situation, and it's always worth giving them a shot :smileyhappy: However in some cases, as in yours I guess, the console is in need of repairs. The numbers are available here if you don't already have them:

Ok, I did 'Option 4 - Rebuild Database'. I've done it before and it usually erases all the images I have within my music albums, messages, and folder names.

However this time, all the images within my music remained, but the organised folders and messages were all deleted.

Does this mean it hasn't done it properly? Whenever I did this last year I remember it annoying me as I had to re-add photos to all my albums.

It finished 100%, but the above leaves me unsure?

I have also started leaving my Official Stereo Headphones USB Dongle unplugged all the time incase that causes a problem. I usually have it pligged in constantly but not sure whether than can cause problems.
