PS3 YLOD Is it the power supply?

Well guys, heres another vid of the PS3 YLOD. After messing about with the heat sinks, I have got it to turn on an extra 5 seconds (yay.) And the fan now dies down after 10 seconds. So that sort of rules out temp sensor issues (seen as the fan stops running fast after 10 seconds) so I am starting to think that it may be a dodgy power supply? What do you guys think?

As the system powers on successfully for long enough to show the YLOD and stays on, I wouldn't have thought it was a power supply issue. The YLOD is a generic failure though which is why it's so hard to fix.

 

 You could try the power problems troubleshooter too just to be sure but I'm 99% sure that's not the problem.
