PS3 not playing specific DVD

My PS3 refuses to load one specific DVD. The screen goes blank, the green triangle options logo appears briefly, then returns to the home screen. The PS3 has no problem playing all my other DVDs/CDs/Games apart from this one disc, which plays quite happily on all my other devices I might add, which it has only played once. REALLY CONFUSED!

Any help would be appreciated as this is incredibly frustrating. The DVD works on all other formats, it has played on the PS3 once before, and the PS3 plays all other DVDs (including the bonus disc of the offending DVD!)

Re: PS3 not playing specific DVD

Do you get any error codes trying to play the game on PS3?

Check that the DVD is from the same region as the PS3. Unlike games, DVD's are region locked. Region 2 or 0 DVD's should work in PS3's from the UK.
