PS3 plus game saves

I have just bought a preowned PS3 320GB. On my old one (which I still have) I joined PS3 plus for three months and saved my game saves on the online storage. I have put all of the relevant info into the new one but cannot get my game saves back from the online storage. They don't seem to be there. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?

Copy something new to the online storage. All your previous content should then appear.
