My PS3 is  no longer able to read any disk, i've tried restoring, different disks, even a different HDD.

Won't read any disks, despite the blue disk LED is being lit.

Well as it's not reading any kind of disc, it's probably the drive itself. If it's a borked blu-ray drive then you've got a few options:

- You can attempt it to fix the problem yourself by installing a new drive (around £50 on amazon)
- You could get a third party repair (£70 at consoledoctor.co.uk),
- You could get a refurbished equivalent console from Sony (usually £110)
- You could opt for a new slim (around £190 depending on the store)
