Re: PS3 wireless stereo headset after 4.10 update is horrible

After playing on COD for a bit last night I've found a few things:

  • The hissing is most noticeable when you've got the volume really low on the slider (I know I usually have it barely off the bottom!). I turned it up for a moment and the game volume then overtakes the hissing volume (I don't think the hear your voice scales with volume). So if you can bear it, turning up the volume helps.
  • As people suggested with the eye toy 'work around', if you go to the headset sensitivity menu, and turn voice input from stereo headset to off the static and 'feature' dissappear. The only caveats to this are that a) It then means you cannot chat and b)it resets itself every time you disconnect/reconnect your headset.

Something extra to feedback to the developers SFZ :smileyhappy:
