For the duration of the maintenance you will be unable to log into the PlayStation Network, Account Management and the PS Store.  PS Home may also be unavailable.

Some users may be able to sign in however, the services listed above will still be unavailable during the maintenance window.

There may be some additional downtime after the maintenance period for testing purposes.

i have heard a Rumour that it is To BRICK out old ps3s causing your system to fail... (Have a Flashing red light) so you cough up £110 for a replacement system. it apprently is to claw back funds they lost during the psn outage!

i dont believe these conspiricies though.

I heard a rumour it converts your dishes into Jaffa Cakes so you become morbidly obese, can't leave the house and must use PlayStation Store forever.
