Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

I have sent Sony a very strongly worded email expressing my disgust at this whole matter, going into detail about what a long serving and loyal customer I have been, I have demanded a refund along with a compensatory gesture.

My email has been acknowledged by another human being, as opposed to an automated response, and has been passed onto the management team

[ Edited ]

I can now pick 5 new games.

I don't want the 5 new games or those original 5 to be removed from my account so I can buy them back.

This has gone on long enough. Other than contacting PSN support again and waiting weeks for another solution, is there anything else I can do?

Other than some Pinball DLC I haven't bought anything from PSN since this problem and I won't until the problem is satisfactorily fixed.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

I tried My voucher too and no joy downloading the five games I originally chose either. I also cannot download them back to My PS3, as I had the incredible misfortune of having to replace My PS3 because of a fault soon after buying this deal. I have just emailed back stating My situation and I'm hoping enough people have been affected to warrant an actual fix, because I can't play any of these games on ANY device at the moment and I don't really want to chose five different Minis, because I want to play Zenonia!

One person being affected is enough to warrant an actual fix. Don't let lazy, incompetent corporations like Sony convince you otherwise.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

How does Sony expect me to invest ANY kind of money in their stuff If they screw me over a couple of euros? Right now I could expect same complications every time I buy something from the Store. They must be thinking that we will just forget about it because the cost of tnose minis was negligable, but it's not that easy. Can't they see that?

Same for me. I'm definitely not willing to pay any money anymore for services and/or games when there's no guarantee for them to work as they should AND Sony being completely unwilling to care about issues in the slightest. Especially when Sony is also covering up their stuff through shady changes of terms mid-deal and not even getting into contact with affected customers in any way.

I read the bundle-description when it first came out, and only later decided to buy it. I obviously was never made aware of any change in those terms, it was also never clearly stated in the pack's description, it was never updated on the blog. And even with this change, the DRM and/or the games ARE broken the way they work now: I'm completely locked out of ever buying or playing the games I chose for this deal on any other platform.

What makes things even worse, I still haven't got ANY response to my mails. They won't even dare to tell me that they screwed me over by referring to other license terms, if that's what they want to try now. I'd still say that would be illegal and that the deal is broken anyway, regardless of terms, for the reasons mentioned above and because it never told me about the games being locked to one system in the games descriptions.

Hell, even the error message I get when trying to download the games to my PSP is wrong: "The download failed. You can use [der minis-Mix] on only one PSP system."

I only have one PSP!

It's a joke that this is called "customer service". There's no service at all. Nothing.

That's a really good way to lose a customer, and one who was quite the fan of Sony's games and consoles so far! Way to go, Sony!

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

UPDATE

Just checked on my PSP and it looks like the Pick & Mix bundle was reset on the 9th Jan !!

Thanks for letting me know Sony !!

Anyway, as others have said, although I now have a fresh allocation of 5 Minis I cannot pick the original five that I wanted in the first place !!

Guess its back into the customer services loop for me to get a refund instead !!

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

This is so beyond the joke right now, I'm just so tired of seeing the same problem with a pathetic solution. It seems like goodwill but alas the new minis suffer the same problem we all stated what seems a lifetime ago. Limited to one system and that's that.
