All is fine and dandy, but I havent even received a reply to my e-mails, let alone any voucher. Isn't the regional customer support just wonderful?

Right now they have the Final Fantasy deals in the shop that I was really waiting for for months, years even. I'll skip that now I know I can't trust Sony's ways of handling their DRM for download content, especially as I used to be quite wary of DRM of any sort. Sony just prove to me again that I should stick to DRM-free software only.

Same here. Id buy FF II, IV, VI, IX and Tactics right here, right now. But I wont, for the same reasons. This makes me even more ***** off than I already was :Argh:

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

Just had a phone call from Sony to tell me that the voucher that was applied to my account was for 5 minis to play while I wait for a fix to get the 5 I bought.  I then asked if this would just tie up more minis to a single PSP and make those useless if anything happened to that machine.  He is now asking head office what will happen with the extra minis when the first are fixed and if they will be made available for transfer to the PS3 etc when this problem is over.  I have been promised another call with the answer though he could not say when...

If I hear anything I will post.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

Why are some people getting replies and I've still not heard anything, no compensatory minis, no offer of a refund etc?

Surely if Sony gave decided on a solution then anyone who has been complained should be getting the same service.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

I am still waiting on a personal reply to my last email, in which I mentioned the fact that I am unable to download the minis to either my PS3 or my PSP and that the voucher did not allow me to download these games on my PSP, although all 5 selections remained so as everyone already knows they would only work for different minis. It sounds promising that some have been told that these minis are as a stop gap solution, albeit tied to one PSP, whilst the network team work to resolve the issue. I, however, have not been told this so I will continue to wait and see what happens. The fact that some have been told that a fix is being worked on that would solve the transfer problems is heartening at least, even though this issue has just dragged on for so long now.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

The first two times I got calls from Sony it was because I had said in the email I sent that I expected a reply via telephone within 48 hours, in both instances I got a call about 24 hours after I sent the email. Yesterdays call was just out of the blue, I did however get a promise that I would get a call back from a supervisor to answer my questions about the extra offered content (in my case 10 minis have been credited to my account because sony just repeated the voucher when I complained that the first didn't work!) I want a promise that the extra content will be unlocked in the same way that they say the bought content willl be... Sony didn't contact me when vouchers were applied, I only found that out by looking at the service list under transaction management on my PSP.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

Holy Moly just got my 1st phone call of the support team. Same as everybody has told us already really, got the 5 game voucher and that they are working on the issue with the bundle.

Was nice to talk to a human and the guy was very pleasant.

Im guessing we will just have to wait and bide our time with 5 other minis we dont really want to play until there is a fix. For me the issue is resolved and all the moaning in the world is not really going to make much difference now.

So good luck with the rest of you, I shall be popping on occasionally to catch up on the problem .

Feel free to add me  hairfreax.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

To the people who got the voucher, how did you get it and when were you allowed to use it? I didn't get a phone call but I got an e-mail telling me that I got the voucher for 5 extra minis games, that was 4 days ago. But I don't see anything in the transaction management. It still says 0 remaining on the Pick and Mix deal. Does it take a few days after the email confirms that you have the voucher?

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

I received a call in person today explaining that the voucher for 5 minis was indeed for an extra five minis for free, and the network team are working on a fix so that all of us that will be able to use our original game selections on both PS3 and PSP, when they have done this they will be posting the information on the Playstation blog and in the forums. For me this seems like a fix too, assuming that they do indeed fix the games at some time in the future. The guy I spoke to was very helpful and I am happy to get 5 free minis for my PSP, as well as to eventually get the original 5 minis on both systems. Being told this information has definitely allieviated my concerns, and who doesn't like free stuff! I hope that everyone else here also receives this solution as it seems pretty reasonable to me. I will keep checking on this thread, as well as the blog, as I am sure that a post will be made here when the fix is in place. Good luck to all affected.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

@RpgN - The voucher is applied automatically after sending an email to customer services about not being able to transfer your minis to PSP and is only accessible from your PSP in Account Management. I don't know if you can access this on Media Go either as I was told to use my PSP via Wi-Fi. If you are checking on PS3 you will be seeing that original minis pick and mix service which is a separate service, and you will not be able to access the PSP only voucher. I didn't use any of mine until I was contacted and told that they were for 5 different games for free. I was contacted after I had sent a second email explaining that the voucher would not let me select the five games I had previously chosen. I hope you get your voucher and can access it for your 5 free minis on PSP : )

I dont want to burst your bubble, but they have been offering fixes and solutions for weeks now and have failed to solve the problem, so dont get your hopes up.... I would also suggest holding off using the 'bonus' 5 minis until we are 100% sure we can get the original minis onto our PSP's...
