Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

Hi guys,

I have had some feedback and can confirm that if you opt for the refund then you will not be able to re-purchase the games individually.

The information I have received also states that following the refund the games should still be playable, however if there are any issues, the game is deleted or your console is replaced then you will not be able to re-download.

Once again I would like to pass on our apologies for the hassle you have go through with this issue.  Based on the posts in this thread im sure some of you may wish to escalate a complaint regarding the issues with the Pick n Mix minis offer.  If this is the case then please contact your local PlayStation Support who are able to process your complaint.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

This is totally unacceptable.

Why i, and the other, should be "banned" for the games we wanted only because we purchased them ?

Also, why we should pay more to SONY calling them for useless complaint ? If this is a joke, isn't funny at all.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

Opt for a refund?

I've not been offered one...

Again - can you clarify whether my previous emails, calls etc are actually getting a response or am I meant to rely on some unclear info on a forum? The last I heard from customer services they told me this would be fixed.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

Honestly though, where is complaining going to get us if this is Sonys stance on the matter- I've actually cancelled my Vita order over this. I just dont care for Sony any more

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

I've been offered a refund, but I'm not going to accept it if it means I'll never get to play these games on my PSP.

I agree, it's unacceptable to be effectively banned from these games in this way. I always buy Minis on my PS3 and play them on my PSP. If I can't do that with the Pick n Mix bundle then fine (stupid as that notion is), at least let me buy them at full price to play them on my PSP.

You can't offer me a good deal, then "accidentally" let it permenantly, forever disable a feature I wanted and then just abandon me to live with it; especially not when everyone who didn't take this offer DOES have the option of playing Zenonia on their PSP.

I don't care about the money, I want the ability to play these games on my PSP (by re-buying them at full price if necessary), just like everyone who didn't take this stupid bundle has.

sfz, cnm.

Wow, I'm so glad this information was revealed after I took the refund.

At least the weak attempt to get more cash via the chocolate-fireguard-of-a-support-line

gave me a laugh. Good work, guys. :xLol:

Re: sfz, cnm.

The problem here is that there are a number of very obvious solutions that Sony are ignoring for no good reason.  They are then proceeding to bury their head in the sand and pretend that nothing is happening, this is unacceptable and if the thing we had bought was physical we could resort to trading standards etc and get some support from the legal system on this. We cannot for download software however and Sony know this, yes it is cheaper for Sony to do nothing but in the long term it is their loss, the PSvita is off the wish list even if the price comes down as are any Sony tablets, laptops, internet connected TV's or anything that uses a network connection, there are other companies out there that take customer service more seriously.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

Same issue here as everyone else..

-Bought the package on 30/12/11. Download went fine, but than got the error 80029753 when i tried to transfer to psp, so I couldn't transfer to my psp.

Called to psn helpdesk. Very friendly guy on the phone, he wasn't aware of the issue yet, but saw there was one when browsing through online posts. Suggested to try media go as solution, but told him I'd prefer to wait for a solution via my ps3 (not so technically skilled and as I read later this wasn't a solution either). Told him I could wait (didn't seem like a problem which required rocked engineers to solve, so I expected it to be solved within the week...)

-Two weeks later, call back from the friendly guy. He asked me if I had a wireless psp because than he'd have a solution. I didn't (have the new psp street), so he was going to follow up and get back to me.

-Week later, call from other guy. his solution, just redownload the games via XMB, list of services. tried that, got the error 80029753 right when I pressed on the download of the minis. Called back to provide feedback that it didn't work.

-Week later (end of january) on monday, I kind of get tired of waiting for a solution and call back the helpdesk. I ask them if they could provide a solution and if they don't have one, a refund within the week. But they're depending on the UK to decide on that, so i have to wait. At that time, I didn't mind to just have a refund because they got the FF promotion running on psn store, rather spend money on that than keep waiting for this mini bundle for which there was no view on a solution yet. So I wait.

-End of the same week, get a call back with a "solution". I have to delete the games from my ps3 and than try to redownload the mini's (apparently this was tested by the UK and it should work). So I delete the mini's on my harddrive, go through xmb to list of services and try to redownload. I again get error 80029753. So in the end, nothing happened and the mini's aren't even on my harddrive anymore (not that I was planning to play them on my ps3, i just needed my ps3 to get them transferred to my psp). I call back to provide the feedback.

-One week later on Tuesday I call back to ask for the status. The helpdesk operator seemed kind of irritated that I called back so soon but heh, I asked for that solution within the week (and to still be able to make use of the FF promotion in case of no solution). No feedback yet at that time from the UK.

So we're now again 2 weeks further, no further feedback received (and for once a good promotion has passed by)... But than again, at this point one can doubt that there are any sony techs looking at the issue with the launch of the vita and all the issues that that will bring.

I find it really strange that this issue drags out so long as there could be a lot of fixes to it (eg give refunds and put the 50 separate mini's in promotion for 0.8 euro).

If they would've realised after two weeks that they didn't have a solution and would've refunded everyone who bought it after two weeks they would've lost some money on it but at least the reputation damage would've been limited and in the end the money would've been spent on something else on the ps store, but now they're just making a joke of themselves. And certain peeps will reconsider impulsive buys like the Vita.

Not throwing stones at the callcenter people, they were very friendly and willing to help, but it all seems to come down to sony's tech peeps and management who needs to prioritise problem solving things like these

Re : PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

Like most of you, I simply wish to play those 5 minis on my PSP.

As anybody tryed to de-activate their PS3, then transfer the games on their PSP?

does it work?
