Well here's another twist in the tale. I got a call from Sony confirming that the 5 Minis credit was a goodwill gesture (and not the solution to our problem) so I spent an hour picking out my 5 "next best" Minis. When I tried to download them to my PSP I found that it wouldn't allow me to download any Minis which are currently free to Playstation Plus users! Instead of showing a Download button, those Minis only showed a Buy button. This means the list of Minis you can choose from is reduced from 45 to 30-something!
Luckily for me it only affected one Mini in my "next best" list but it was frustrating nonetheless.

UPDATE
Received an email from Playstation Customer Services today stating that my online wallet has been credited with £3.19p and that they consider the issue resolved for me.
Checked on the Playstation Store and sure enough the funds are there.
A solution of sorts I guess but the five Minis I picked are still not accessible even if I wanted to pay full price for them !!
So, where does that leave me with Sony.
Well the answer is nowhere !
These past seven weeks has seen the complete erosion of my confidence and faith in them in terms of their ability to deal with (simple) customer issues / complaints and I cannot find any reason at all why I should continue to invest in them or give them a second chance.
Whether we like it or not, digital downloads are going to play a very big part in all our future gaming needs and so any company that uses that kind of distribution needs to ensure that its systems are set up to not only distribute the data as advertised, but also to quickly resolve issues that arise.
At this point in time Sony are clearly not there. I am afraid that in my eyes their customer service has to rank amongst the poorest that I have ever had the misfortune to come across.
So, sadly, Sony will no longer play the primary role in my gaming hobby simply because I have no trust in them. I say sadly because I was really looking forward to owning a Vita but as stupid as it may seem to some of you, I cannot bring myself around to 'letting them off the hook' and giving them my hard earned cash again.
Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how you all go on with this issue and I extend my thanks to all who have contributed to this and hence managed to keep it alive.
Cheers,
Krog360 ![]()

I received a massage from RabidWalker which ticked me off to the max...
"The Network Team have been unable to change the games to work on both systems as originally intended, so if you wish to request the refund on this basis they will process this for you"
WHAT... THE... HELL... IS... GOING... ON... HERE?
No 5 extra minis, no solution to the original problem, only a refund? What's with the contradictions?! ![]()

P.S. There's another one right there... Front page of the Playstation store on PS3, it says "new this week, Malicious, buy now! PS3 Game £7.99, then you click through and there you can buy Malicious for £6.49 or £5.19 for plus members...
Hey, i got top marks in my arithmetic 'O' grade at school. Do you need anyone to help you out with number recognition guys? *sigh*

Hi guys,
Obviously you are all aware that the minis in the Pick n Mix offer had a fault meaning they could not be transferred to another console. We sent out voucher codes to a number of consumers who originally reported that they were unable to transfer their purchased content to another consolein an attempt to fix the problem.
Unfortunately we have experienced technical difficulties with these vouchers and have been unable to correct the issue. As such if you have purchased these minis and you are not satisfied with only using them on one console then you can obtain a refund. This can be done in the usual manor by contacting your local PlayStation support who can process the refund for you.
Once again please accept my apologies for the inconvenience that this situation has caused you.
Any questions feel free to ask,
SFZ
