Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

I'll tell you what's happening here: yeah, the issue was being looked into and they have a solution ready, but they are deliberately waiting untill the Festive Offer ends. They want to catch as many suckers as possible, as there is a big chance some of them wont complain (i.e. download the package straight to PSP). They'll keep us waiting and ignoring our posts, then right after the festive offer ends a simple solution will magically appear.

All that trouble and angry customers becase they don't want to take the package off the store even for an hour and inform unaware users that there's a problem.

Am I wrong? Allright, prove me wrong. I'll gradly admit that I've been mislead if what I said is not accurate.

Forget about me buying Vita after such treatment.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

This is the first problem I've had buying+playing PSN games. It certainly does give me cause for concern that this problem is taking so long to resolve, on Steam if there's a problem you get a reply in 24 hours with the option of (if you're in the EU) getting your money back or (elsewhere+EU) getting the money credited to your account. And Steam are just an independent game studio, albeit a large one.

But the concern is how much focussed on digital distribution the Vita is, and if these problems arise again will I have to wait weeks for a solution?

@Jimmirock

These past few weeks have been my first real foray into using the PSN Store and also I recently took out a 3 month PSN+ subscription.
I am very suprised (to say the least) about how this whole episode with the Minis Pick & Mix has been mishandled by Sony Customer Services and the other recent posts that say it is still an issue on downloads happening now is totally unacceptable.

I am hoping that this will be resolved before the weeks end and I suspect that those affected will still have to face a phone call or two to Sony to get it sorted even then.

The problem that I personally face is how I progress with Sony in the future.
I enjoy playing my PS3 and PSP and I was planning on getting a Vita, but, if this episode is anything to go by, my confidence in Sony as a customer orientated business is now shot !

In gaming terms, I do not subscribe to brand loyalty. I own consoles by all manufacturers and hence can decide to pick which one is my primary machine of choice.

At this stage I honestly do not know what to do.
Should I stick it out with Sony but just buy physical media or should I invest more heavily in another manufacturers console and gaming services ?

Whatever I decide, one things for sure, my honeymoon with Sony has abrubtly ground to a halt.

So, c'mon Sony. Restore my faith in your support structure and get something done about this whole sorry episode !!!

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

4 days since a moderator said there would be some feedback "shortly" - anyone any idea of how long shortly covers for Sony support?

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

I like how it's not mentioned in this week's update, as if the issue doesn't exist. Andy in complete silence on the matter. I wonder if not only there's a huge communication problem, but wether these people are so terrible and the higher ups know nothing about the problems. They've had so many issues in the past, it's hard to imagine why they still haven't fired the technical staff already and replaced them with more experienced staff.

Hi guys,

I have received feedback from the Network Team in regarding to this. They have advised that users who have had an issue tranferring the games across should contact their respective PlayStation Support Line. This is done so that individual account information can be confirmed, and then each case can be passed to the PlayStation Network Team. From here they will be able to provide a resolution to each user affected allowing the playback of the minis.

Contact details for each territory can be found in the thread here.

Rabid

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

It's a joke. By the end of this it would have cost more than buying the games individually. I'm not a happy consumer.

Re: PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems

Link doesn't work for me either. Why no email address? Presumably everyone who has mentioned it on here has done so through their PSN account anyway so details are on here?

Given the poor service from Sony on this a solution which suits customers doesn't seem too much to ask. Or even a link which works...
