Playing Music problems

Hi all. This is my first post as a member of Playstation Form so, yea':smileywink:
I'm always playing music on my PS3 just on the menu so I can chill to and sometimes, only sometimes, the e.g. the guitar or secondary guitar or piano or whatever isn't lead goes REALLY quiet and I can't hear it. I don't really do anything about it and it just disappears and goes back to normal.

But, it's happening atm and it's been like it for quite a while. It's doing my head in. For example, I was listening to Wanna Be Your Dog by The Stooges and all you could hear was the bass, drums and the guitar solo and another example, Stir It Up by Bob Marley and the intro guitar is REALLY quiet throughout the song.
I've looked through all forms and there doesn't seem to be a problem like this, so... if you could help me on this I would appreciate it sooooo much.
Thanks <3

Re: Playing Music problems

i had this problem once.

it sounds like you're only getting 1 of the 2 stereo channels.

when it's happening, either listen closely to each of the tv's speakers in turn, or use the remote to change the balance to fully left, then fully right.

if that confirms it & there's no sound from 1 side, then check your leads / connections.
