I recently brought Ratchet and Clank All 4 One off Amazon.CO.UK, I wondered why it took so long to arrive, and when it finally did I realised it came from America, and it was an American copy. Now I was fine with that etc as it does work on my PS3. But I realised the Online Pass does not work the the UK's Psn Store, I checked the Online Pass on the store itself and it is not compatible with the disc type I have either, which I was pretty bummed out about.

Luckily I can play with people round my house but it's a shame I can't really go online, I was curious if there was a way to get around this but I guess there's not, and that means I can't get platinum either. xD

Thank you for your help etc in advance, even though I'm sure there's not a way around this problem, also, why did the online pass thing come along anyway? It's kind of a pain to be honest. D:

There may be a way 'around' this, depends on the dev though, basically a (very) few games online pass only allow 1 user to play online, where most unlock online for the console/game data, So IF you happened to have a US account, and if the games devs have allowed the online for the console, then you could redeem the code in the US store AND play it with your UK/normal psnid... But you know that any future dlc has to be bought from US for that game as well ?... So best thing you can do imo is return it, i believe amazon are good with refunds or exchanges.

Hmm, I'm not too sure, I looked at the "terms and conditions" and it says the pass is only applicable to the account you activate it on, so I don't think that would work. :/ Also, Amazon sold it through a third party, and I don't think that company does returns, etc and I can't really afford to send it back to Americas. I do doubt there is a way for me to achieve online play without the need of a pass (even if I show photo proof of one to Sony) I really don't know D':

ahh. am sorry to hear that, still i 'think' the print does say that for most all stuff, so if you can't find any other way around this then you can't lose anything by trying. First though i would maybe visit the US support site and ask if maybe they could help you out, maybe another gamer may have ideas or the staff could try to, but keep in mind the time difference as your best posting there or here, when someone involved with the stores may read it...
