I bought a new version of the game Mass Effect 2 at Christmas after being suggested to get it by friends but only just got round to playing it after completing many other games. Inside there was a code for dlc related to the game on the psn store to activate free dlc as a bonus for having the game released long after it was on the dreaded Xbox. The code said that it "expired" on the 1st of January this year but was told on forums that this should not be an issue and that activating the code through the game should allow me to still redeem the code. Yet when I have done it both through the game and directly on the store the message that the code has already been redeemed or expired comes up. I really want to get this sorted as I don't want to have to pay £18 to get this dlc from the store and don't want to have the hastle of going through the terrible EA customer support that I absolutely hate using! Also I am a bit confused as I still had access to all the additional missions such as 'The Lair Of The Shadow Broker' but not the backward interactive story. Can anyone suggest anything that might help or experiencing this even though the game is 2 years old?

I guess I can try and redeem it on other accounts or talk to EA support about it but they are always absolutely useless in my opinion, not even trying to fix any problems. If not I may have to pay £18 to get all the dlc otherwise I am going to get screwed over in Mass Effect 3 from all the default decisions made in the abscents of the interactive back story
It just annoys me that EA would do this, punishing people for picking the game up when mass effect 3 wasn't even out yet. Combined with their new idea of charging gamers for using an online game on separate consoles and also shutting down less popular online aspects that people have paid for without warning has really put me off EA as they just make me angry as they don't seem to care about the people who play their games

the same problem. Yesterday i spend two hours talking with EA support.. And nothing.. Mr.Adam gave me two another codes, and both of them are expired. Then he told me that this is my problem with "entering numbers" or problem with PS Store. And that's all.. If anyone knows how solve this problem tell me please firstname.lastname@example.org
You would certainly have to take this up with EA in regards to the code expiry, but if you want to PM the code I can check it on our system to see if it is still active, or has expired.
