Sorry if this post is in the wrong place,can anyone help me? Recently purchased a ps3,and is working great.untill I sign in to psn,then things go wrong! Unchartered 3 works fine offline,but if I'm signed in,it takes 4 to 5 mins,just for the game to load,and then the sound keeps cutting out during the game. Same with motorstorm apocalypse. My Internet is fine,I have fibre optic broadband,and my Xbox is working fine. Any suggestions?? Many thanks!

what is your PS3 signal strength?

Hi, I've checked in the settings and connection status list, my signal strength is 100%. Once I manage to actually load a game,I can join online games fine,and there is no lag whatsoever,and i never get kicked out or anything,but as soon as I try to play a games campaign,then the sound keeps jumping,and cutting out. I borrowed my friends FIFA 12 just to try out,it took 9 minutes to load! It's driving me mad! As soon as I sign out,then everything is fine!

Have you tried a reset of your router before you play?

Yes,have tried resetting router. I am resigned to only being able to play games offline,I have tried everything,and no one seems to have this problem. The only way I can use my ps3 is by disabling the Internet connection. Once I do that,everything loads instantly and works fine! I'm just going have to use my Xbox for online gaming,and my ps3 just for ps3exclusives. I feel ripped of by Sony, never have any probs like this from Microsoft! Have you tried inputting network settings manually?
