Purple Screen

Ps3 is working fine, only problem is my game screen goes purple. First of all i want to let you know that i only get this problem with the game Fallout New Vegas. It first happened to my original copy, so I borrowed my friends to see if it was any better. Same thing happens, the game starts up and loads but when it gets to the main menu, my screen goes completely purple. The audio continues to work and plays the games music in the background, but it is almost like the system freezes. I can't access the home menu, so I'm forced to restart my ps3. I've searched around and I haven't seen anyone with the same kind of problem, so I'm wondering if it has to do with my ps3, or should I just try a different copy. Any help or feedback would be great, thanks.

My fallout new Vegas did the exact same when I tried again it worked fine

Try deleting and reinstalling the FNV game days from the game data utility
