Heya guys, I was wondering if anyone here could help! I'm having problems with renegade ops and virtual fighter 5 not working online.

I know my connection is not to blame as I have my playstation set up in a permanent DMZ and can play any other games online with no problems at all.

When I attempt to start a quick match on Renegade ops I get the message "no match found" and if I try to create a game I get the message "a connection error has occurred please check your network connection" even though I know my network is fine and I am signed.

The issue I am having with virtual fighter 5 is very similar, as when I try to join a quick game ranked or unranked I get to choose a character then it hangs a long time on accessing before it says "an error has occurred" and If I try to create a match once again it hangs a long time on accessing before I get the message again saying "an error has occurred"

Any help anyone might be able too provide would be very greatly appreciated! And please forgive my lack of punctuation, I am typing all this from my phone.

Weird. Today alone i played VF 5 online with no problems. Found matches straight away. Sure it's not your end?

Yes that's what confusing me as well as my lady can get on them fine no problem, and like I say I've set my ps3 up so it's within a DMZ. So the router has no effect on the playstation and I'm playing other games online right now, as we speak but these two games are just having none of it! I've never bad any problems getting online with any other games before either I thought I'd just mention!

Have you tried delting and re-installing the affected games?

Do you have any issues on other PS3 games at all or it just those?

Might be worth checking your router is up-to-date with the latest software. Had problems myself on a few games till i checked and updated the routers firmware. Haven't encountered any problems since except for Motorstorm Apocalypse a few are having issues with that.

Well i had a little experimenting with my settings before the England france match was on, and the games do work through a direct connection to my modem which means their is something wrong with my router settings but like I say i really dont understand what it could be as my ps3 is in a DMZ now to trot off and fiddle around with my router settings oh bloody joy! haha

And after having a mess around with my router verifying my PS3 is in a dmz still no joy looks like no multiplayer on these games for me! haha

Okay so this is weird! I'm having the exact same issue now with space marine.... It's like any games I've downloaded refuse to work online.... I know it's not my setup as every other game I have on disk work flawlessly even cod reports I have an open nat type.....

I have the same issue. I am not set up on a DMZ. All other games that I have downloaded work fine online.
