My PS3 is taking forever to download anything, is there anyway to make it faster?

Wired or wireless how are you currently set-up what equipment are you using to connect with eg router and/or modem. 

A wired connection will give you an advantage over wireless. Wired connection myself and get identical speeds that my is PC getting using speed tests via PC/PS3 browsers.
