Why is Sony treating the vita the way they are still no good big name games a crap browser u can't watch hardley any videos from the web I've seen no t.v adds for it u say to sign up to inside I did so and have had no emails or MSGs from them register your machine it says with no option to register your vita . I have not completed my profile a MSG says to do so log in with your ps3 I DON'T HAVE ONE . My local game store don't and won't stock it they say not enough Peaple have asked for it I mean what are Sony doing don't they care ? like I've said before I like my vita very good machine but not enough support for it do they want it to flop .

no big games -- biggest launch line up of any console

flash player for browser is dated and not used now

tv adverts on all the time and also seen it heavily advertised in the football last night

profile completion - dont know but im guessing i have done so as i dont get the message

if your local game store dont stock it thats nothing to do with sony take it up with the store


its only 2 months old give it a chance , the ps3 was exactly the same when it launched

 There's TV ads all the time. If you haven't seen it then you're probably watching BBC1. PlayStation Access is advertised on the adverts, and if you go there Inside PlayStation is mentioned daily.

 Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Rayman, WipEout 2048, Little Deviants, Frobisher Says, Escape Plan, Everybodys Golf. That's a tiny selection of the huge number of games available.

 You don't register your Vita. It's tied to your account when you set it up. Inside PlayStation email you pretty much every week or two and give nice detailed messages and often ask questions to tailor their future messaging.

 If your local game store won't stock PS3's then make sure they actually sell games. Lidl isn't a Game store. Try GAME, or GameStation, those are real retailers

 Sony care, otherwise they wouldn't make anything.

I have all the big games already and completed most of them I don't shop for games in the supermarket I do use game and game station but never anything new I don't watch football and I view a number of differant channels mostly on sky I've seen one add for it since I got it on day of lunch . Inside vita have sent me one MSG and that was a questioner it just seems Sony it's pushing the vita enough .

If you have all the launch titles you should be nowhere near completion of them yet!

Sony advertise on lots of channels, they may not be ones you watch as you may not be their target audience. Check your junk mail filter to make sure it's not getting the emails.

I have checked my junk/bulk mail there is never anything from them I even gave them my mobile number for SMS MSG still nothing in total I've had 2 MSG from sony one was a couple of themes/wallpapers and then when tried to download got a MSG saying cant download or use on a vita got to use your ps3 but like I said I don't have one so no good to me the other was a questioner please don't get me wrong I like Sony products I had the ps1 from launch and the ps2 and now the vita oh and a psp I just don't want this to flop and have no game support . Do u know if there are any descent driving games coming like G.T or N4S ? I'm a bit of a games fanatic my first console was the Atari 2600 and have been a gamer since then I've had nearly every console and handheld I'm a game and gadget nut . Do u work for Sony ?

The current best driving game by far is WipEout. It's not to everyone's taste but is much more accessible than all previous versions.

Sony hiararchy do not seem to care about loyal users...I have been with the ps since ps1...but as soon as 'Microdot' entered the scene..Sony have changed their attitude from being a company with a belief in cultivating satisfied customer base with good products...to giving bad service and mean attitude for a high profit...it's clear they are ***** off their loyal customers with taking away all that made them no 1...corporate suicide.   We did not hack them..I hate the geeks that have nothing better to do than hack systems for their own benefit yet Sony acts as though it is our fault.   I n the post someone tells us to go to a local games shop..yet Sony is taking away their very lifeblood...games by selling them online..and now threaten software that disallows preowned.   I have three ps3s my family..and they ALL continually freeze...show Japanese WHEN ON INTERNET-but not on Sony browser..so it is obvious they are furtively making the normal internet a bad experience..and we are being manipulated away so that we ONLY use THEIR commercial outlets.   I have NO interest in movie rental nor music purchase..yet they install access to these sites..on my XMB  that cannot be deleted.   I bought a VITA-thinking essentials such as high internal memory would be in it..and find the machine memory is as empty as a Witch's teet...and the wifi is as bad as the psps...   I thing the Sony engineers have always beenfantastic with the designs...but they are now being restrained by a mean Sony boardroom.   I really think the change in attitude is what is causing their financial loss..and before it is too late.. imaginative PR people should be hired.   Over the years I have had 23 Sony games products within the family....plus a plethora of games so as  a good Sony supporter have earned the right to speak.   We loved you Sony.....once...appreciate it , and at least show us some respect.   SON OF ODIN.

Set the Language to English US if you're having the Japanese issue.

As for freezing, a rebuild of your database may help You can get the safe mode tutorial here.
