Hello, 

This is just a message regarding the last update.

After only having this PS3 Slim for 2 days . I am concerned regarding this last update ?

I noticed that the update went to 53% and suddenly my PS3 reseted ? is it not suposed to go to 100% then reset ?

I have noticed that it does say Version 4.20 under the system information however , but i am just concerned why it reseted the console at 53% and not at 100% ? 

If someone from technical support can just clarify what i should do next or if i should just leave it i would be greatful due to the many other people having problems with this update i just want to clarify that my update is ok ? 

Also to clarify does System Resotre clear firmware. Im 99% certain it doesn't am i correct ?

This seemed to have been the same as the stuck at 99% but instead stuck at 53% and resetted my console.

Please Help !

If you system says 4.20 it has updated successfully, don't worry mine has done this with previous updates and suffered no harm its all ok

System restore DOES clear firmware
