Hi.

 

Can anyone please explain to me why this web site is sometimes ridiculousley S   L   O   W  to load on my PS3 please.

 

Other web sites are fine, except for the odd java script error message I get once in a blue moon.

prior to firmware update v.4.10, i'd have agreed & said that these forums were 1 of the slowest sites to load & navigate using the ps3 browser.

since then though i've not had a problem, although if there's been more than about 5 large photos posted on 1 thread page, it can take up to 15 seconds to finish loading.

 

my router stats show 19999kbps down & 1168kbps up, so it's not super fast.

 

the only things i regularly do which seem to keep the browser sweet, is delete history, search history & cache. occasionally if things stutter a bit, i'll delete cookies & authentication information as well, but that's it really.

 

oh & i never have more than 2 windows open at once.
