Think this ps+ free game thing has wiped my game saves?

Since they turned up on the store, there's been an update, even tho I didn't download little big planet 2,it's started from the begining and all my game saves have dissapeared.
I backed them up on ps+ save data utility but they not there either?
Having to re install all the game packs and costumes, lost my levels that I made and having to start from the begining again, with everything....
Anyone else had anything like it? What can I do?

There is no reason that content been added to the PS Store would cause your game saves to disappear.

 

Is it just LBP affected or has other content disappeared from your console?
