My old PS3 gave up the ghost after 13 months and I vowed not to get a new PS3 however my wife purchased me one for Christmas, she knows which side her bread is buttered.

I purchased a number of games on my old PS3 but I cannot see how to transfer them over. I have activated my new PS3 on the user account that I made the purchases on however I cannot see any way to to do.

I would appreciate any help on this.

Go to either account management or the playstation store and click your downloads list and grab your previous purchases to download again.

Firstly, thank you for responding so quickly.

I had thought that would be the answer and did look into before posting my question. My download history only has the items I have downloaded on my new PS3. My previous history is no to be seen.

You must sign in with the same PSN ID/s as you used when you originally signed up. Your PSN ID keeps a list of all the transactions since the account was created.
If you are certain that you purchased using that account, then give Sony a call and they should be able to check for you and recredit the downloads to the account.
