help please ,,i turned my playstation 3 on this morning tried to sign in to my user name but the screen just went grey and playstation crashed , ive tried it several times and the same thing happens, i thought the console was nackered but my when my brother logs  in with his user name the console and everything else works fine is my account ***** or wat thanks

no only when i turn the playstation on ,there are 3 users on it but mine wont work i created another user and tried to sign in to my account but it tells me there is another user on this system that uses that account and wont let me sign in ,i cant even delete that user because you have to log in to system first which it wont let me do .

And what happens when you try to log in to the User? Any messages or error codes?

i dont know why it wont work thats the problem ,i phoned playstation up and he said my account is fine he said my playstation user must be corrupted he told me to delete the user and create another one but it wont let me access the system with that user .as soon as i press x on my user it crashes the system .

Ok, if the console is crashing before you can load the user then I think Safe Mode will be the next option to try.

Some of the options in Safe Mode will delete data from your HDD so make sure you have a good read of the option and what they do before you start.
