Please can you guys give me as much info as possible and will get this raised for you.
Sure can.
1st attempt. Launch the installed vidzone from XMB, tells me the update is there, click to accept. -> Black screen for several minutes, but I can still access the XMB.
2nd attempt: Restart the console to see if it'll make any change, black screen again.
3rd attempt: Delete the installed vidzone, followed by a re-download and install from the Store. Launch to a Black screen with the Blue logo.
4th attempt: Restart again after the re-install. Same result as from the 4th attempt. Black screen, and blue logo. I left it on for several minutes, didn't see any change.

Phew, not just me then. I saw you on vidzone and go off it and back on it again, and I wondered if you were struggling to get it working.
@LR I launch it, and it doesn't work. ![]()
It just stays on the blue logo at the start, I've left it for over half an hour earlier and another 15 mins just. Is it updating the catalogue or something, or is it broken?

Hi all,
Sorry for the inital issues. Any loading/installation problems should now be fixed, just delete the current app and redownload from the PlayStation Store.
Let us know if you have any more problems and we will look into this further.

I'm still getting the black screen. I've redownloaded it again.
I've also tried deleting it, then installing a demo, to see if it could be related to my HDD. But the result is the same. Let me know if you have any suggestions for fixing it, or if you need more information about the problem.

Should've thought about that option. I'll give that a try when I get back home.
Cheers, lyonix.

As lyonix suggests, users who have an issue running Vidzone after the latest 2.0 update should completely delete Vidzone from their console and reinstall to see if this works.
You can delete the Vidzone app from the console:
However although the app has been deleted, the update data remains on the console, so this may have to be deleted as well.
To delete this data:
Once this has been been removed, you can reinstall the Vidzone software from the PlayStation Store.
If you are still having issues after doing this, let me know and I will look into it.

Despite deleting all the data for VidZone, I still launch it to a black screen.
I've tried deleting all of it now, and went through the steps of redownloading and installing. Tried it with and without turning the console on and off between the steps in the operation, to see if that would make any change.
Do you have any tips at this point, or a foolproof guide to re-installing it?
