I have my machine about 4 years . My problem started a month ago. When I insert any of my 15 games (they are original ) the system does not load them. When I insert any other DVD or CD its OK.

I tried to load them to an other PS3 and they load fine. Only my PS3 has that problem. I even made a PS3 restore (reset to default settings and format the hard disc) but the problem isn't solved.

Does anyone know anything about this.

Sounds like the BluRay drive is failing if the disks work in other systems. If BluRay movies don't work then it's pretty certain.

There's no way to fix it without carefully replacing the laser with another one of the exact same type, which for most people is an impossible task. You may be able to get someone down town to fix it for a fee. GameStation or Game might be a good place to try.

 Alternatively Sony will replace the entire console for £130 if you call them up. it's a bit steep though so you may be cheaper and better off investing in a shiny new console with it's years warranty and probable free games
