i want to know how much it would cost to send out my ps3 40gb to sony and how or is it cheaper to buy a new ps3 ????? also i live in the uk

It'd cost somewhere in the regions of £100 for a repair from Sony, the exact price will be given if you call them :smileywink: Otherwise a new console is whatever price you can find it for.

If you've got the money, I'd get a new console :smileyhappy:
