My ps3 will play normal dvds but not bluray or 3d. I have been told they have 2 lasers and it is probably failiure of the bluray laser causing the problem. The on screen message reads cannot play video. Can anyone help.

You could try safe mode options from 2-5 to see if this solves the problem but it is most likely that the blu-ray laser has failed

For this you'd have to call sony customer support and explain what's happened and from there they should be able to help you out further
