cant start appropriate system not found...please help! :(

i was playing mw3 then suddenly my ps3 froze and stopped responding so i turned it off and back on and  then it said cant start appropriate system storage was not found....i took my HDD out and re insterted it as lots of people suggest and still not working...so what i do? my ps3 is 320 gb slim and its only 6 months old.please someone help me

I've had the same problem.  Only been happening since the firmware update last Thursday. Very disappointed.  I just spoke to Playstation Support.  They took me through the Safe Mode process which I had already done myself many times without success.  They told me it sounds like the hard drive mas been corrupted.  I'm going to get a new one now off ebay and see if that works...there's no way I'm giving them £110 for a console replacement when it was their Firmware update that has caused the issue.

I would confirm PlayStation Supports advice, try the options in Safe Mode to see if that corrects the issue.
